D. project entitled "The exercise of teaching in the inter cultural perspective of the Undergraduate Course for Indigenous Teachers of the University of Amazonas", aims to expose the work dynamics of a group of professorsthat faces the challenge of teaching confronting the continental Amazonian distances, and what has been learned in this academic relationship with traditional peoples. The stories of this study were obtained through interviews, transcribed and analyzedinthe light of the theoretical-methodological perspective of Oral History, which will help us to understand the rich and complex training process in which teachers are inserted, and to broaden the view towards a teaching practice still underrecognized.
- ItemAqueles tempos do Julinho: práticas no cotidiano escolar da ditadura civil-militar (década de 1970)(2018) CUNHA, Luciana Vivian da; GRAZZIOTIN, Luciane Sgarbi SantosThis study is situated in the context of Brazilian civilian-military dictatorship and is related to the history of Júlio de Castilhos State High School (Porto Alegre/RS). It investigates written documents and the memory of four former teachers. It aims at identifying pedagogical practices and daily tactics constructed in this school, considering its relation with the Brazilian political repression. In the daily school life, it was possible to identify aspects concerning tactics constructed by teachers and its relation to the situations imposed by the dictatorial government, which created, to a certain extent, a special statute for Júlio de Castilhos High School at the time.
- ItemAs histórias de estudantes cegos sobre o seu ingresso na educação básica(2019) BARBOSA, Luciane Maria Molina; SOUZA, Mariana Aranha de; MENDONÇA, Suelene DonolaThe objective is to understand the trajectory of blind students, especially when they enter Primary Education. Six blind students enrolled in higher education in the last two decades are the subjects of this research. Of qualitative nature, we have as an instrument of data collection the oral history interview, performed individually and analyzed through Content Analysis. As a result, it was verified that the trajectory of these students points to elements such as the materials used by the teachers and the schools they studied, the teacher's posture during the classes, the existence or not of some companion for the student and the form of the school to understand the work with diversity. The narratives were configured to be able to recall the experiences, toempower the subjects and to reflect on the ways of organizing the educational practices.

With regular meetings in different debate forums, these authors and authors also highlight the fact that historical research on physical education in Latin America, in some way, tends to call them, too, for actions related to the organization. document collections and the formulation of memory preservation policies.
- ItemEducación y enseñanza en las tesis de graduación de la formación de los profesores de educación física en el Uruguay (1950 – 1954)(2018) DOGLIOTTI, PaolaThe work tackles the main discursivities around education and teaching in the graduation theses of the students in the career of physical education professor given in the Upper Institute of PhysicalEducation of Uruguay in the five first ears of 1950. It signals the potentiality of these sources for the historical study in the educational field. Like part of the circulation of ideas, theories and pedagogical practices that show the theses, its tackles the influence and local translation of the complex plot of psychological and philosophical currents that conformed the “New School”, and of the technicist curriculum perspective of Anglo-Saxon origin to the development of the pedagogical and didactic foundations of the physical education field.
- ItemFontes orais e as práticas de alfabetização no Grupo Escolar Bom Jesus de 1955 a 1971(2018) LIMA, Michelle Castro; AMARAL, Marco Antônio Franco; SANTOS, Sônia Maria dosTo study the practices of literacy is to go beyond the analysis of the didactic material used. This work is part of a research that searches in thememory of the teachers to build the history of literacy, from 1955 to 1971, in the Escolar Bom Jesus in Uberlândia -MG. We use as theoretical contribution the New Cultural History that brings new possibilities of research and sources. Thus, oral history is fundamental to the realization of this study, since it is from the voices of the literacy students themselves that we construct the history of literacy in the Bom Jesus School Group. We sought to identify who these literacy teachers were to understand what representations and appropriations they made in that period, and attempted to construct a part of the history of literacy in Uberlândia. The results reveal that the practices are loaded with values and representations that these professionals built and built throughout the primary teaching exercise.
- ItemHistória oral, velhice e o tempo presente: o contexto do patrimônio cultural rural paulista(2019) LIMA, Lívia Morais GarciaThis article aims to analyzeand reflect on the contribution of oral history in studies on equity shares and equity in education paulistas historic farms. Problematic issues here are part of a recently completed research, where the heritage is explored as an educational tourist space within a vision of non-formal education in the rural setting, facing the elderly public, educational backgrounds and different social classes. Research on the São Paulo countryside cultural heritage becomes a paper on the use of cultural property as a source of recreation and tourism, allowing an exercise in awareness of the value of rural areas, by analyzing the subjects' representations and their roles, the rural.
- ItemLa idea de Francia en la educación de la dictadura franquista (1939-1960)(2019) SANTABALLA, Antonio Gabriel Gisbert; ORBEA, Juan MadariagaThis essay analyses the manipulation carried by Franco ́s dictatorship on the historical discourse in Primary Education, focusing on the idea of France that is transmitted to young students (6-12 years old). On the one hand, the idea of France as an ancient enemy of Spain, an on the other hand, the idea of France as the vehicle of dangerous ideologies such as Enlightenment and Liberalism, which Franco ́s Dictatorship relates to those who inspires the Second Spanish Republic. This análisis will focus on textbooks from the Franco ́s dictatorship period: Álvarez Encyclopedias, and Bruño ́s publishing house.
- ItemNarrativas em rede: argumentos coletivos e histórias de vida na educação(2018) RIBEIRO, Suzana Lopes Salgado; OLIVEIRA, Patrícia Romana deThe article reflects on the concept of networking and its use in making oral historyas instrument to registrat a history of education and of educational heritage. By pointing out how networks form, it thinks about its organization, its arguments, its affectivities and its belongings. Moreover, the networks are pointed as more thanmethodological procedure, but as production of meanings and, therefore, important for the constitution of knowledge. The discussions derive from the tessitura of the networks of interviews of a masters research in Education. The study aimed at analyzing the identity construction of teachers in the extended day of elementary schools, considering the life histories narrated as documents, which give visibility to the perceptions of the research collaborators.

- ItemO uso de materiais concretos para ensinar aritmética: saberes profissionais do professor primário (1920-1940)(2019) FELISBERTO, Lidiane Gomes dos SantosConsidering that the use of concrete materials to teach Arithmetic integrated the professionalknowledge of the primary teacher, this article aims to identify how this knowledge was present inthe training of teachers in the State of Paraná, between 1920 and 1940. The research, conductedin the perspective of Cultural History, mobilized official historical sources and schoolproductions of two professors who attended normal education in different decades. The studyindicated that the use of concrete materials to teach Arithmetic, articulated to the knowledge to betaught in the 1st and 2nd year of primary education, was a valuable professional knowledge andthat, as new conceptions of teaching were appropriated, knowledge underwent transformations,gaining new meanings.
- ItemO uso de materiais de Desenho lidos em Anuários de ensino de São Paulo (1907-1920)(2019) GUIMARÃES, Marcos DenilsonIn this paper the aim was to identify what kind of teaching materials are recommended and how they are used in school activites associated with the teaching Drawing in the primary and normal courses of São Paulo. For this, the "Anuários de Ensinode São Paulo" (1907-1920) were examined. The theoretical references came from to texts produced by historians of Education referring to the method of intuitive teaching. As a result, it was possible to verify that paper, pencil, colored pencils and blackboard were the main supports responsible for tacklig to the passage of perception / imagination to the concretization / realization of the idea, that is, of drawing. Overall, the associated task was to favor the student's personal and creative sketch through the development of his faculties of observation and imagination.
- ItemOrientações para o uso didático de materiais na escola primária: um estudo em revistas pedagógicas (1891 – 1916)(2019) BORGES, Rosimeire; DUARTE, Aparecida Rodrigues Silva; CRUZ, Érica Nadir de AndradeThis historical study analysed articles of pedagogical journals, published in different Brazilian states, from 1891 to 1916. In these sources, the research work sought to know recommendations and guidelines for the didactic use of materials in primary school arithmetic classes. The study concluded that the authors of these articles suggested that teachers readers used diverse materials in their arithmetic classes, presenting models of activities that would involvethe students in the observation, comparison and manipulation of these materials to resolve exercises and problems, in order to help them understand the arithmetic concepts studied. In short, these articles disseminated the foundations of the intuitive method for Brazilian elementary schools at that time.
- ItemOs Boletins da Comissão Brasileiro-Americana de Educação Industrial na divulgação de saberes pedagógicos e disciplinares(2019) NETO, Oscar Silva; COSTA, David Antonio daThe present paper intends to characterize the Bulletins of the Brazilian-American Commission of Industrial Education (CBAI) as materials for the teaching of Mathematics in the Industrial Schools of Brazil. The objective is to discuss how these Bulletins can be seen as instruments thatexplain teaching proposals mirrored in the pedagogical positions of a time. The corpus of the research were the Bulletins assigned to the authors dated 1948, 1951 and 1952. As the printed ones had the intention to bring pedagogical guidelines to the teachers of the industrial education, it turns out that Mathematics occupied a prominent place and that some orientations for the his teaching was left recorded in the printed Bulletins, causing the teacher to make an association of his class with the workshop.

In addition to the initial text, in which the organizers bring their comments on the texts that make up the theme in question, there are nine more articles for the readers' appreciation and delight.

No. 2 of 2018, with thematic cover dedicated to it. In the 2019 edition, the dossier “Materials for teaching mathematics in the early school years: condensing pedagogical and disciplinary knowledge” was published in full, and the cover of the 2019 edition presents a theme that is linked to it. Another highlight, the reception of articles and documents with different cultural focuses, when considering the educational dimension of cultural heritage practices.
