- ItemAcidente de trabalho como demanda de aprendizado(2016) FERNANDES, Marli Elisa Nascimento; RIBEIRO, Amanda Galindo; CAMILO, Maria Virgínia Righetti FernandesOccupational accidents as a demand for internship learning are important to the training of health professionals and constitute an understanding of the social factors that involve work. The aim of this study was to describe the social characterization of patients and their work relationships. This is an experience report from January to August 2015 using the records of 13 patients who suffered work accidents on weekends and were admitted to the hospital. Variables of the social profile and work relationships of these victims were raised. The analysis of this sample was carried out by frequency and descriptive. Most of the patients were male, married and in the productive age group, with a formal employment relationship. As for the types of work accidents, 54% occurred on the way, 46% during exercise, of which 38% of the injured seem to have had their rights violated for not having information about the accident report, while 62% had already been notified . The contributions of this study are inscribed in two dimensions: about working conditions in contemporary society and about learning about professional work. Working conditions cause health problems: work accidents that resulted in hospitalizations were mostly caused on the way to work, pointing to the risks of mobility and the conditions surrounding it.
- ItemAnálise da gestão da informação e do conhecimento na superintendência de administração de pessoal de uma instituição de ensino superior pública(2017) MARCHIORO, Keila Aparecida; SIMON, Lilian WrzesinskiThis article analyzes how information and knowledge management techniques are explored in the personnel administration sector of a public Higher Education Institution (HEI). The study carried out at the Superintendence of Personnel Administration (SUAPE) of the Federal University of Fronteira Sul (UFFS) uses a qualitative-quantitative approach, in a case study with a descriptive focus. The data collected through a structured questionnaire enabled the analysis of criteria such as: knowledge management, technology and information system, organizational processes, people management, learning and innovation. Based on the results, it is clear that there are already structured knowledge management practices, however, it is observed that the sector has some points that can still be explored with regard to the database and the retention and sharing of knowledge. When measuring the strengths and weaknesses about each criterion, among themselves, it is noted that technology, followed by organizational processes stand out positively, while learning and innovation followed by the criteria of knowledge management processes and people appear as points to be improved.
- ItemCentral de Tradutores e Interpretes: a inclusão no ensino superior mediada pela Língua de Sinais(2016) ROSA, Andrea da Silva; ALVES, Claudio Moreira; SOUZA, Clóvis de; CONCEIÇÃO, Diego Henrique de Assis da; FERREIRA, LiliamThe Brazilian Sign Language Translators and Interpreters Center – TILS serves deaf students, initially enrolled in the postgraduate programs of the teaching and research units of UNICAMP. The creation of the TILS center is in line with the inclusion policy established by the official documents, which aims to recognize the linguistic difference of deaf people and through the mediation of the LIBRAS interpreter translator to provide favorable linguistic environments for students to take ownership of scientific knowledge in sign language, which is its natural language. In this direction, we aim to ensure that the university is a place of education for all, not only allowing the entrance of deaf people, but mainly offering conditions for their permanence. The main objective of Central TILS is to translate the classes for the regular students of the undergraduate and graduate courses at the University.

- ItemEnsino do Braille: estratégias de leitura(2017) MENDES, Fátima Aparecida GonçalvesThis study reports the importance of Braille for people who have lost their sight and how significant reading is in their learning process. Simultaneously, it presents the trajectory of a professional in teaching Braille. The lack of reading habits is common to a large portion of the population, including people with visual impairments. The Reading Project was born from some studies (partial results presented in a symposium) carried out in a rehabilitation center, having started with two apprentices and, later, with the others, who also chose to learn Braille. Based on these studies, investments began to be made in the collection of books in Braille and to use strategies to increase interest in reading. All subjects aged over 12 years who are part of a rehabilitation program for learning Braille between 2009 and 2015 participated in this study. A qualitative study was carried out and observation records were used during the consultations. , reports on the learning and interaction process between the researcher and the subject and joint discussion of the results obtained in the consultations. There was an increase in the number of loans of books in Braille in the collection of the rehabilitation center and improvement in the writing of the apprentices. The reading strategies used were properly applied and were successful. Learning to read and write brought positive changes in these learners' lives. It is important to create public policies for the production of books and materials in Braille.
- ItemEntrevista: José Tadeu Jorge fala sobre sistema educacional brasileiro(2016) JORGE, José Tadeu; PAULA, Maria Alice Cruz deChildren aged 4 years must be enrolled in a school since the opening of the 2016 school year, according to the Basic Guidelines Law (LDB), but is Education prepared to receive them? One of the important aspects to ensure the quality of teaching throughout the academic life of these new students is the broad understanding of the Brazilian educational system, which still holds some mysteries for society and even for professionals who are daily dedicated to the job of teaching. For the dean of UNICAMP, José Tadeu Jorge, the system should be understood as a whole, and not as separate stages, without forgetting that this whole starts in kindergarten. One of the necessary changes, for Tadeu Jorge, is to improve Brazilian early childhood education, which, according to the dean, should serve as a foundation for a person's entire academic trajectory. For Tadeu Jorge, the first steps in educational training must be motivated by a highly qualified structure that has the child as a social actor and not only a welfare vision in which the child system was created for fathers and mothers to "accommodate" their children while they are dedicated to work routine. In an interview with Revista Saberes Universitários, the dean analyzes the behavior of society, professionals in the area and the government in relation to the current education system and recalls that the universalization of secondary education, also implemented in 2016, must be allied to a proposal for improvement of quality.
- ItemEntrevista: Rosemeire Desidério fala sobre a profissão de intérprete de LIBRAS(2017) DESIDÉRIO, Rosemeire Aparecida Antunes; PAULA, Maria Alice da CruzThe recognition of the LIBRAS interpreter profession in 2010 mobilized many Brazilian universities in the search for professionals able to mediate communication between deaf teachers and students in the classroom. However, the hiring, as well as the training of these professionals, requires care and criteria that, if respected, will be the voice of the deaf in the transmission of the content of the classes, but, once not respected, can harm learning or teacher training. and other professionals. For Rosemeire Desidério, LIBRAS instructor at the Gabriel Porto Center for Studies and Research in Rehabilitation (CEPRE), the recognition of the translator/interpreter is one of the greatest achievements in the struggle for academic and academic inclusion, but with the requirement, many schools hire trained professionals in courses with insufficient time to meet the needs of deaf students. “The school and the university need competent translators/interpreters. In addition to transmitting the knowledge passed on by the teacher, they are also the active voice of the deaf person. There are cases of families that file resources against the school, for not hiring translators/interpreters for their deaf children, even,” notes Rosemeire.
- ItemExperiência no uso do protocolo IPv6 como suporte para a Internet das coisas(2016) GODOY, Henri AlvesThe objective of this experiment carried out at the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FCA) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) was to configure in the data network the double stack of Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) protocols in the servers and work stations. The experiment was carried out by setting up a tunnel to encapsulate IPv6 addresses within IPv4 tunnels since we do not have a native connection of version 6 addresses. Both outbound and inbound traffic were controlled through a firewall in the tunnel to improve the security of services. The main services such as name resolution, sending and receiving e-mail and web pages were configured in order to understand the impacts of the insertion of these traffics on the network. As a result, a higher speed in IPv6 traffic compared to IPv4 and the friendly interaction between the two versions and protocols was obtained. Even though we cannot leave only the IPv6 protocol configured in the environment, the experience helped us to better understand how this new protocol works and the needs in terms of software and hardware.
- ItemO caso da implementação da integração de recursos humanos na Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba (FOP) da Universidade Estadual de Campinas: programa IntegraFOP(2016) FERNANDES, Fernanda Caroline; FERNANDES, Ana Claudia Fabbri Ceccato Montemor; CARONE, Ana Paula; CAMPOS, André Luiz Sica deConsidering that the administration of Human Resources is fundamental for the fulfillment of organizational objectives, the integration of new employees plays an important role in the business strategy. Each employee needs to adapt to the functioning of their work environment, know the corporate policies and also feel part of the work team. Thus, there was a need to develop a new integration project for Faculty, Servers and Interns at the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba (FOP), State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). In this sense, and considering that the practice of administration depends not only on the analysis of current and future problems, but mainly on the solution that the administrator has for these adversities, this case report seeks to present the current integration structure that was developed at FOP. Through such actions, it was possible to establish a better professional, human and organizational relationship. In this way, this experience report can serve as a basis to awaken the eyes of other members of the Human Resources area, within UNICAMP and beyond, having as its horizon efficiency in interpersonal interaction and good communication in the work environment.

- ItemProjeto Familiarizando na UNICAMP(2017) FERREIRA, Petra Ferreira; CESARIO, Selma Aparecida da Silva; BUENO, Erika Aparecida; RODRIGUES, Natascha Oliveira; SILVA, Ana Paula Aquino; BORGES, Dirce AureliaThe Familiarizing Project is aimed at families of servants assisted in the Chemical Dependence Care Program, or servants who have addicts in their family and aim to provide information to the family on social and psychological issues, aiming at the autonomy of their lives and the coping with the drug addict's disease. The project provides individual and/or/group care, helping families in their difficulties on how to deal with the issue of chemical dependency; expanding its support network, offering the necessary subsidies in order to enable it to live properly with the employee's illness and also take care of the illness already installed in itself: codependence. The receptions take place in two modules, being performed by a social worker, a psychologist and a social service intern and are carried out through semi-structured interviews, workshops, lectures, conversation circles and exchange of knowledge between members and professionals, but in none of the cases, referral to therapy is discarded, when the need is observed. Since its implementation in August 2012 to date, 38 families have been assisted and 189 meetings have been held. We observed good receptivity, especially with regard to the proposal of rebuilding family, affective and social relationships. It is necessary for the family to know how to act assertively with those who are in the process of recovery. Its performance is important in helping you to change your life, showing that it is possible to live in a dignified, healthy and pleasurable way.

- ItemUm estudo de caso do Conselho Municipal de Proteção Ambiental de Pelotas/RS: políticas socioambientais para o desenvolvimento urbano(2017) SILVEIRA, Sérgio de SouzaStrategies of socio-environmental policies for urban development were analyzed based on a case study of the Municipal Council for Environmental Protection of Pelotas (COMPAM), the highest authority for public environmental policy in Pelotas/RS. The research scenario – COMPAM – is investigated and interpretations of the data collected through interviews, direct observation and documents are pointed out. The council has faced adversity also observed in other municipalities, noting that the context of environmental licensing in the city of Pelotas does not yet occupy the effective possibility of contributing to local public policies. Thus, the influence that the council should exert on local environmental public policy is still incomplete. Therefore, through its instruments, socio-environmental policies play a strategic role, as not only the participation of the Public Power provides the means to protect the environment, but also the community has the possibility to use them properly in line with the objectives to achieve the intended practical social effects. There are few works in terms of quantity on issues involving municipal environmental councils. In this way, it is expected to stimulate further studies due to the need for debates.
