A abordagem da ação crítica e a epistemologia da práxis pedagógica

The action of teaching has, historically, the attention of educators and researchers of pedagogical approaches, focused on the process of teaching and learning. To Analyze this process for human formation, to beyond the mechanization of learning, requires starting to the cultural knowledge and systematized knowledge. This study aims to show a pedagogical systematization as a theoretical and practical possibility to be adopted by the teacher. Theoretically, it is based in the concept of dialogue and criticaltheory, it proposes an approach to the action of teaching and learning in the critical-reflective perspective. It deals with the theoretical production about the subject and the teaching experiences with the methodological procedure of field diary and collection of material about the interventional praxis in educational environments. It outlines the approach called Critical Action Approach. It concludes that it is the epistemological appropriation by the teacher that promotes the action of teaching-learning, rather than the mastery of pedagogical techniques.

A califasia e a formação de professores na escola normal de São Paulo

In context of implementing the “Escola Nova” in São Paulo and the new demands for the professors’ training, Francisco Silveira Bueno (1898-1989) was approved in a contest for selecting professors at “Escola Normal”, in 1929, to teach Portuguese and Califasia. The concern with the art of expressive diction in interpretation of texts caused the professor to dedicate himself to the production of a specific manual for teaching Califasia. The goal of this study is to analyse the legislation for the period and the manual in order to comprehend the contributions of the author and the discipline for future professors. The research is based on presumed theory and on cultural history, and is related to the production of the history of school subjects. It addresses issues related to the educationalist, representations and appropriations of contents and knowledge to exercise teaching in the context of the first decades of the twentieth century.
A competência em informação e midiática voltada à cidadania: o uso da informação governamental para a participação na democracia

The Information and Communication Technologies enable the development of democratic societies when they allow access to information in different media and contexts. Hence, the access to government information is only the first step towards making people citizens, since it corroborates to the development of the democracy by allowing the population to know how to interpret and appropriate information to build knowledge. It is argued, therefore, that the process of the use of information is equivalent to the execution of citizenship, since it qualifies the individual to deal with different information transmitted by the media in the various spheres: social, political and professional. From this perspective, the present research aims to reflect on the relevance of Information and Media Competence for the construction of citizenship in democratic societies through online access to Brazilian governmental portals. The methodological procedures involve a bibliographical research about public policies, Brazil's access to information law and information competence. To be considered competent in information, the citizen must have the skills and abilities to use the information made available by the government. One thing that can not be ignored is the fact that online portals in Brazil still have obstacles that contribute to the inefficiency of political transparency in the country. Therefore, being competent in information is fundamental to appropriate the government information disclosed, making the individual critical in the selection, retention and dissemination, as well as capable of interpreting the dataprovided in society and the ideologies that govern the sources of information.
A constituição de pedagogias negras na internet: um estudo das narrativas produzidas e disseminadas por youtubers negras

O presente estudo aborda as narrativas e pedagogias culturais produzidas e disseminadas por youtubers negras no ambiente virtual. O objetivo central do artigo é analisar como são construídas e narradas as pedagogias negras nos espaços digitais e dimensionar seu impacto na construção de identidades femininas negras. A pesquisa está situada no campo dos Estudos Culturais em Educação e a metodologia utilizada é a análise cultural, com inspiração na etnografia virtual. Entre os principais resultados da pesquisa, destaca-se que as narrativas de si, produzidas pelas influenciadoras digitais negras, configuram-se como parte dos novos ativismos contemporâneos, como novas formas de resistência e de autodefinição de identidades femininas negras alternativas, que acionam pedagogias culturais de contestação e de empoderamento de jovens mulheres negras.

The challenge posed to prepare the special section, the dossier, of the journal Educação & Formação led us to write seven articles on the history of education, dealing with the specificities of what, throughout the final years of the 18th century, the 19th century, and the first half of the 20th century, was constituted in the social construction of primary education (today called elementary education), higher education, and teacher training in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain.
A contribuição das metodologias ativas para a prática pedagógica dos professores universitários

Este trabalho se origina da pesquisa realizada com professores universitários que fazem parte do grupo de pesquisa que investiga os Paradigmas Educacionais e Formação de Professores, vinculado à Linha de Pesquisa: Teoria e Prática Pedagógica na Formação de Professores em um Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação de uma universidade de grande porte na cidade de Curitiba, Paraná. Objetivou-se compreender a contribuição das metodologias ativas para a prática docente dos professores universitários. A metodologia utilizada pauta-se em uma abordagem qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso,que prima por interpretar, de modo analítico, os dados captados no decurso da pesquisa. A partir das análises dos dados, foi possível verificar que a proposta das metodologias ativas pode se constituir como uma proposta de ensino numa visão complexa ou holística, que possibilita uma aprendizagem significativa para os alunos, protagonistasda construção do conhecimento de forma autônoma, crítica, reflexiva e participativa.
A criança em tribunal: entre os espaços e a participação

In the Portuguese judicial system, the justice spaces were designed by adults and structured for adults, although they welcome a wide range of recipients. In these, relational dimension and power exercise expression are experienced, but, above all, publicity is disclosed, and privacy is exposed, emotions and conflicts are revealed, competencies are monitored, and weaknesses are scrutinized. Research highlights the existence of children and childhood exclusion moments, the continuity of prejudices reproduction and an endemic culture of non-participation. It is also evidenced that childhood and children’s conceptualizations have repercussions on praxis, since there is an image that associates them with lack of capacity, mirrored in and by their minority. Thus, child's contemporaneity is asserted as a basic premise, both for its presence in the breadth of human life and for the valid and valuable contribution it makes to the composition of its lived worlds.

The text presents a documental analysis on the Unlinking of Union Revenues (UUR) from its creation, in 1994, to the present. It aims to clarify the implications of the UUR for financing basic education in Brazil over its lifetime, as well as to understand their operating mechanisms. In order to give an account for what is proposed, historical assumptions financing for basic education are introduced in Brazil. We emphasized how the financing of education is impacted by the UUR and how this financial withdrawing resource mechanism has contributed or not to the effectiveness of the quality of basic public education in the country. The research was relevant for explaining the mechanisms and maneuvers that result in the reduction of the investment of public resources for basic education.
A educação ambiental nos caminhos da sensibilidade estética

A educação ambiental tem como desafios a sensibilização e o despertar da reflexividade de um ser humano que precisa repensar sua relação com o ambiente e os valores que a permeiam. A necessidade estética é uma importante dimensão humana que, ao ser estimulada pela educação, pode despertar a eticidade. No presente ensaio teórico, é apresentado um caminho reflexivo que parte da busca de similitudes nos desenvolvimentos histórico e epistemológico da educação estética e da educação ambiental. Também se faz referência ao despertar da ética pelo reforço da afetividade e pelo valor do belo. As reflexões são desenvolvidas com base nos referenciais da fenomenologia, da teoria crítica e da arte-educação.
A epistemologia genética e o ensino de matemática

“A escola pediu a documentação e eu tive que explicar que só tem o protocolo da polícia federal”: criança refugiada e educação

Considerando o conceito da dupla vulnerabilidade da criança refugiada, este artigo se propõe a iluminar as condições com as quais essas crianças se inserem nos estabelecimentos de ensino, a partir do olhar de suas mães. Para tanto, o trabalho busca relacionar entrevistas realizadas com cinco mulheres refugiadas, nacionais da República Democrática do Congo, que possuíam filhos matriculados na rede pública no ano de 2019, com os aparatos legais que regulamentam a educação no Brasil, especificamente no que tange à documentação para acesso à instituição educacional. A análise realizada permite reconhecer três condicionantes que trazem à luz os desafios da integração de crianças refugiadas: as dificuldades de acesso à escola pública devido ao desconhecimento da validade do documento de refúgio, a língua como barreira para a integração e o preconceito vivido dentro do ambiente escolar.
A fenomenologia existencial em Paulo Freire: possíveis diálogos

A fenomenologia existencial é uma corrente filosófica que considera o ser-no-mundo e entende o sujeito como resultado de relações intersubjetivas. O trabalho buscou identificar nos escritos do educador e filósofo Paulo Freire aspectos dessa corrente pautando-se, principalmente, em Simone de Beauvoir e Jean-Paul Sartre sem, contudo, limitar o autor ao paradigma, mas compreender possíveis diálogos. Em sua obra detectaram-se referências ao existencialismo fenomenológico, em especial ao que se refere à atitude de entender o processo de ensino-aprendizagem pautado na dialogicidade e criticidade em via horizontal que depende das relações que os sujeitos estabelecem com o mundo e como outro.
A filosofia da pergunta no percurso da formação de si mesmo

O falar desse artigo repousa em uma filosofia da pergunta! Talvez devêssemos, desde já, expressar que quanto mais problematizamos e questionamos a respeito de algo, mais temos a possibilidade de compreendê-lo melhor. Nesse processo, o objetivo deste artigo é enfatizar a caminhada do ser humano ao conhecimento de si mesmo pelo perguntar-se. Queremos dizer que não podemos estar preocupados em apenas dispor de respostas, e sim em reiterar a prática da pergunta. Ora, quanto mais voltamos o olhar para nosso modo de viver a vida, mais temos a oportunidade de um encontro íntimo conosco. O questionar-se pode afrontar um modo de viver indolente. Portanto, toda a realidade que confrontamos refere-se ao nosso modo de agir no mundo. Fundamentados no pensamento de Michel Foucault (2010), trataremos aqui das perguntas da vida como horizonte para uma formação e transformação do ser humano, naquilo que enfatizaremos como uma maneira de viver a vida.
A filosofia da tecnologia na formação de engenheiros

The technology is rapidly advancing and impacts on the way of approaching the relationship between the human being and the world, the meaning of our lives, the knowledge of reality, and social governance. Hence, as never before, technology has become a subject that not only arises in the different branches of philosophy, but also that a specialized treatment in the confines of what is known as Philosophy of Technology. This matter should be taken seriously by those whohave to do with technological development and its applications, especially engineers, and those involved in their training and education. This paper deals with the introduction of Philosophy of Technology topics in the courses of Engineering in Cuba, considering their social demand, epistemological foundation, as well as the scenarios and strategies of their teaching and learning. As an empirical basis, the curricula and syllabuses of engineering careers were used, and a systematization of the teaching experiences of the authors as professors in engineering courses was carried out. We conclude that the Cuban experience in this matter is related to its educational and social context.
A folksonomia como modelo emergente da representação e organização da informação

Contextualizes the new approach of information representation called folksonomy, which is used in the web, a marked environment characterized by flexibility and dynamism. Presents the documentary languages as conventional instruments for the information representation and makes a comparison between the traditional model, operated by specialists using controlled language, and folksonomy, in which users freely assign common labels in natural language. Considers the use of free labeling in face of hyper-segmentation of knowledge in virtual environment.
A formação da consciência humana no modelo contextual dialético: a psicogenética de Henri Wallon

Developmental ontogenesis is discussed, with special reference to the manner human conscience is constituted. The above is based on Henri Wallon’s theory which takes into account the social conditions of the process and explains its per-formance during one’s whole life. In this process the child becomes a subject in direct proportion to its self-knowledge, its relationship with the Other, its partici-pation within its milieu and, at the same time, its control on the necessary means to understand and communicate its existence. This is done through a sharing of ideas, knowledge, values, behavior, manner and ideologies.

This article presents some results of a research that aimed at analyzing the actions proposed by the municipal educational system of Rio de Janeiro, from 2012 onwards, related to the professional insertion of teachers and their contribution to the teachingwork at the beginning of the career. In this article our focus is the “Basic Training” course offered during the selection process for new teachers. A questionnaire and interviews were used as methodological resources. Fifty-one teachers, five school principals, and four central level managers were heard. The main results pointed to a hybrid moment and to a movement for changes in the implementation of teacher training procedures aimed at becoming a State policy.
