Inserted in the theme of teaching in times of pandemic, this is an exploratory bibliographic study of Social Communication that was developed at the Franciscana University and applied directly to the teaching staff of the Publicity and Advertising and Journalism courses, with the general objective of understanding the impacts of Remote Teaching – adopted by the institution – in its traditional methodologies and dynamics. To collect information, a questionnaire via Google Forms was developed from two different groups of authors as a theoretical basis: Moreira, Henriques and Barros (2020) and Petermann et al (2020). From the interpretation of their work, we adapted 3 sessions of questions in our study: 1) questions about teacher planning; 2) questions about the technologies used in remote learning; and 3) an assessment conducted by the teacher to reflect on their adaptation to the format. The questionnaire was sent to a total of 20 professors divided between the courses and, positively, it obtained the maximum number of responses. As a result, we were able to understand the panorama of Remote Teaching through Social Communication at the Franciscan University: an adapted and safe faculty to teach in this model - even despite the adversities encountered - recognizing the technological and methodological changes in this scenario as opportunities to "hybridize" teaching (even in the future, after the pandemic) giving new meaning to learning with contemporary technologies of the Digital Age and Information and Communication.
