Resumo
Este artigo é um recorte de uma monografia, que traz uma abordagem acerca de mulheres Quebradeiras de coco babaçuque lutaram por terra, preservação das palmeiras, livre acesso aos babaçuais, construção identitária e voz na sociedade. Isso contribuiu para que obtivessemdiversas aprendizagens,a partir da reivindicação dos seus direitos edodesenvolvimento de habilidades por meio do extrativismo do coco babaçu. São pessoas quemobilizam conhecimentos matemáticosem seus trabalhos diários, diferente da matemática escolar. Partindo desse pressuposto, este trabalho baseia-se no seguinte questionamento: que conhecimentos matemáticosas mulheres Quebradeiras de coco babaçu da Associação Extrativista de Timbiras/MA mobilizam em seu cotidiano? Desse modo, objetivamoscompreender que os conhecimentos matemáticosque as mulheres Quebradeira de coco babaçu da Associação Extrativista de Timbiras mobilizamem seu cotidiano, considerando a experiência dessas mulheres e o contexto socioambiental. Para tanto, realizamosuma pesquisa bibliográfica com autoras/es que abordam sobre a Etnomatemática, como D’ Ambrósio (1998) e Knijnik (1996) e ainda, Oliveira (2019) que discute sobre a utilização da matemática por Quebradeiras de coco babaçu. Além disso, realizamosuma pesquisa de campo,comobservações, entrevistas e diálogos informais, os quais foram registrados em gravação e em diário de campo. Percebemosa mobilização de conhecimentosmatemáticosno cotidiano das mulheres Quebradeiras de coco babaçu nesta Associação e apresentamos como ocorre a utilização da matemática na produção e comercializaçãodos produtos do coco babaçu. Desse modo, foi possível apreender que as mulheres Quebradeiras de coco babaçu da ASSEXTIM possuem conhecimentos matemáticos que podem ser acessados por meio do ProgramaEtnomatemática
This article is an excerpt from a monograph, which brings an approach to babassu coconut breakers who fought for land, preservation of palm trees, free access to babassu, identity construction and voice in society. This helped them to obtain a variety of learning experiences, based on claiming their rights and developing skills through extracting babassu coconuts. These are people who mobilize mathematical knowledge in their daily work, unlike school mathematics. Based on this assumption, this work is basedon the following question: what mathematical knowledge do the babassu coconut breakers of the Extractive Association of Timbiras/MA mobilize in their daily lives? In this way, we aim to understand that the mathematical knowledge that the Babassu Coconut Breakers of the Extractive Association of Timbiras mobilize in their daily lives, considering the experience of these women and the socio-environmental context. To this end, we carried out a bibliographical research with authors who address Ethnomathematics, such as D'Ambrósio (1998) and Knijnik (1996) and also, Oliveira (2019) who discusses the use of mathematics by babassu coconut breakers. In addition, we carried out a field survey, with observations, interviews and informal dialogues, which were recordedin a recording and in a field diary. We noticed the mobilization of mathematical knowledge in the daily life of babassu coconut breakers in this Association and we presented how mathematics is used in the production and commercialization of babassu coconut products. In this way, it was possible to apprehend that the babassu coconut breakers from ASSEXTIM have mathematical knowledge that can be accessed through the Ethnomathematics Program
