Projeto “vivenciando o cuidado de si e do outro na/para a docência”: algumas vivências e impressões

Abstract

Este relato compartilha vivências e impressões do Projeto Vivenciando o cuidado de si e do outro na/para a docência, cujo intuito é discutir e vivenciar a importância do cuidado de si no campo educacional, tendo como principais bases teóricas o não-saber socrático e o cuidado de si foucaultiano, partindo do pressuposto de que o cuidado de si pode auxiliar os docentes a melhor gerir o mal-estar na/da educação. São relatados os 15 encontros iniciais e impressões relativas à importância da problematização do modo vida neoliberal; à reflexão sobre os discursos que permeiam a educação e suas implicações na/para a subjetividade docente e discente; à constatação de que muitos professores vivem “a mesma história” e que é possível, juntos, encontrar brechas para vivenciar a docência de outros modos.This report shares experiences and impressions of the Project “Experiencing care for the self and for others in/for teaching” whose purpose is to discuss and experience the importance of self-care in education, having as main theoretical bases the Socratic ignorance and Foucauldian care for the self, based on the assumption that the care for the self can help teachers better manage the malaise in/of education. The 15 initial meetings and impressions are reported regarding the importance of problematizing the neoliberal way of life; the reflection on the discourses that permeate education and their implications on/for teachers’ and students’ subjectivity; the observation that many teachers live “the same story” and that, together, it is possible to find gaps to experience teaching in other ways.
