Pesquisas dialógicas com prostitutas como espaço-tempo de educação para a ética e a integridade científica

Abstract

A ética concretiza-se nas relações entre pesquisadoras/es e participantes da pesquisa como parte de um horizonte dialógico e comunitário. Neste texto, os embates entre Ciências Biomédicas e Ciências Humanas e Sociais acerca da regulação das pesquisas no Sistema CEP/Conep são confrontados com dilemas éticos dos Estudos de Prostituição. As pesquisas com prostitutas têm se mostrado como espaço-tempo de formação ética e corroboram o entendimento de que a assunção de uma postura política de fazer pesquisa com e não sobre prostitutas, procurando abarcar os significados que essas mulheres atribuem a si e a sua prática, desvelam novas formas de investigar e apreender a prática da prostituição, favorecendo a tessitura de uma razão ético-crítica que permita o reconhecimento do outro como outro.Ethics materializes itself in the relationships between researchers and research subjects as part of a dialogical and community horizon. In this text, the clashes between Biomedical Sciences and Human and Social Sciences regarding the regulation of research in the CEP/CONEP System are confronted with ethical dilemmas of Prostitution Studies. Research with prostitutes has shown itself to be a space-time of ethical formation and corroborate the understanding that the assumption of a political posture of doing research with and not about prostitutes, considering the meanings that these women attribute to themselves and their practice, reveal new ways of investigating and apprehending the practice of prostitution, favoring the development of an ethical-critical reason that allows the recognition of the other as other.
