Entrevista: Os desafios do financiamento da educação básica no contexto do novo Fundeb - Profa. Dra. Nalú Farenzena

Abstract

A presente entrevista aborda a questão do financiamento da educação básica no Brasil. A relevante experiência da entrevistada nesse campo do saber traz elementos que possibilitam a compreensão da temática no que se refere à relação financiamento, qualidade e avaliação; ao novo regime fiscal instituído pela EC 95/2016; à redução dos investimentos em educação no contexto da Pandemia da Covid-19; às políticas de fundos; às inovações que o denominado Fundeb permanente apresentam. Aponta, ainda, as principais pautas para as associações acadêmicas e entidades da sociedade civil, especialmente a Fineduca, na luta em prol do financiamento da educação que garanta, de fato, o direito à educação.This interview addresses the issue of financing basic education in Brazil. The interviewee's relevant experience in this field of knowledge provides insights that make it possible to understand the theme with regard to the relationship between finance, quality and evaluation; the new tax regime established by EC 95/2016; the reduction in education investment during the Covid-19 Pandemic; fund policies; to the innovations that the so-called permanent Fundeb offers. It also highlights the main guidelines for academic associations and civil society entities, especially Fineduca, in the battle for the financing of education that guarantees, in fact, the right to education.
