Abstract
The aim of this article is to highlight that the relevance of continuing education in the professional trajectory of teachers requires their presence in all contact opportunities that enable their access to knowledge developed and produced in human signification processes. In order to do so, teaching actions of a teacher training activity developed during the XIII National Meeting of Mathematical Education, with professionals who teach Mathematics in Elementary School, are presented here and analyzed. The concept of time measurement was collectively explored in a ludic way and guided by actions based on the activity theory and by the theoretical-methodological principles of the Teaching-Orienteering Activity. The conceptual nexuses present in the concept of time measurement were worked through the proposal of a learning trigger situation, which made possible a reflection on the part of teachers regarding the organization of teaching for this concept in particular. We conclude that, if well-structured and well-founded, teacher training processes can and should take place in all spaces that allow teachers to reflect and analyze their professional activity and, therefore, enable them to set in motion the signification of their teaching activities
