Este texto apresenta resultados de um estudo que versou sobre os espaços e recursos lúdicos na educação infantil, em especial para crianças com idade entre dois e três anos, em duas instituições de ensino, uma pública e outra privada. Com os objetivos de verificar os materiais e espaços lúdicos disponíveis, compreender como as professoras se apropriam desses espaços e como realizam o trabalho pedagógico com crianças, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com quatro docentes e dois coordenadores pedagógicos, além de observações
This text presents results of a study that dealt with spaces and playfulresources in early childhood education, especially for children aged between two and three yearsold, in two educational institutions, one public and one private, in the south of the state of Mato Grosso Sul.We conducted semi-structured interviews with four children and twopedagogical coordinators, as well as observations on the spot. This research was carried out in order to verify materials and playfulspaces available, understand how teachers make use ofthese spaces and how theycarry out pedagogical work with children.The results demonstrate the inexistence of toy libraries in these institutions and playfulness based on spontaneous work, although they understand the relationship between playfulness and child development
