Eduardo Marciano e a luta pela obtenção do “habitus” para adentrar ao campo literário

Abstract

Eduardo Marciano, personagem de O encontro marcado, de Fernando Sabino, tinha um sonho: escrever um romance e publicá-lo. Para isso, teria de percorrer um longo caminho por toda a literatura com suas obras e autores já consagrados, entender das regras e dinâmicas que compõem o campo literário. Nesse sentido, este artigo tem por escopo traçar uma análise do romance sabiniano a partir da perspectiva teórica do francês Pierre Bourdieu. O ponto principal, o qual nos detivemos, foi o de analisar a trajetória do personagem-protagonista, isto é, como se dão a formação de um escritor e a sua luta para a entrada no campo literário, com base nos conceitos de habitus, desenvolvidos pelo teórico francês, especialmente em seu livro As regras da arte (1996).Eduardo Marciano, character of a Time to Meet, by Fernando Sabino, had a dream: to write a novel and publish it. To do it, he would have to go through a long way through out literature with its works by already famous writers to understand the rules and dinamics that compose the literary world. In this sense, this essay has the purpose to analyze the novel through the theoretical perspective of the French intelectual Pierre Bourdieu. The main point, to which we detained ourselves, was to analyze the path of the protagonist, that means, the training of a writer and his fight to enter the literary field, having the concepts of habitus, that were developed by the French academic, especially in his book The Rules of Art.
