Para onde vai esse táxi ? Uma revisão da literatura sobre a geometria do táxi no brasil

Abstract

A Geometria do Táxi vem sendo inserida aos poucos nas discussões sobre as geometrias não euclidianas na educaçãobrasileira, acarretando assim o surgimento de diversas pesquisas sobre esta temática. Neste trabalho, que correspondea um recorte de uma dissertação de mestrado, apresentamos um breve panorama das produções feitas no Brasil, entreos anos de 2010 e 2019, acerca da Geometria do Táxi no ensino da matemática. A metodologia empregada nesteestudo contempla elementos de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a partir da qual foram investigados artigos científicos, tesese dissertações em duas bases de dados online. Os textos encontrados foram, inicialmente, filtrados de acordo com osobjetivos da pesquisa, resultando num corpus de 25 produções. Os trabalhos foram organizados com base em trêscategorias: natureza das pesquisas, público-alvo e tipos de recursos utilizados. Concluímos que as pesquisas, em suamaioria, trazem resultados de aplicações da Geometria do Táxi, predominantemente com estudantes da educaçãobásica,contemplandoousodediferentesrecursos,comosoftwares,papelmilimetradoejogos,apartirdeabordagense focos diversos. Interpretamos esses resultados como indícios do potencial desta geometria para a compreensão edesenvolvimentodo pensamentomatemáticoe geométricoaindanaformaçãobásica.Taxi Geometry has been gradually inserted in discussions about non-Euclidean geometries in Brazilian education, thusleading to the emergence of several research on this theme. In this work, which corresponds to an excerpt from amaster’s thesis, we present a brief overview of the productions made in Brazil between the years 2010 and 2019 aboutthe Geometry of Taxi in the teaching of mathematics. The methodology used in this study includes elements of abibliographicresearch, from which were the scientificarticles,theses,and dissertations in two online databases. Thetexts found were, at first, filtered according to the research objectives resulting in a corpus of 25 productions. The workswere organized based on three categories: nature of the research, target audience and types of resources used. Weconclude that the researches, in their majority, bring results of applications of Taxi Geometry, predominantly with basiceducation students, contemplating the use of different resources, such as software, graph paper and games, fromdifferent approaches and focuses. Weinterpret these results as evidence of the potential of this geometry for theunderstandinganddevelopment ofmathematicalandgeometricthinkinginbasiceducation.
