Paideia e Bildung: sentidos e contornos históricos dos projetos formativos da antiguidade e da modernidade

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar dois distintos projetos formativos: a paideia grega e a Bildung do esclarecimento alemão representada por Kant e Hegel, bem como o desenvolvimento desta última em Halbbildung no século XX. Para compreender os sentidos e contornos históricos em que essas formulações estavam postas, tornou-se necessário inseri-las no contexto mais geral das formações sociais em que elas estavam inseridas, revelando suas contradições.The present paper aims to present two distinct formative projects: the Greek paideia and the Bildung of the German enlightenment represented by Kant and Hegel, as well as the development of the latter into Halbbildung in the 20th century. In order to understand the historical meanings and contours in which these formulations were placed, it became necessary to insert them in the more general context of the social formations in which they were inserted, revealing their contradictions.
