In this article, we discuss both literature and pedagogical practice mediated by Information and Communication Technologies, in relation withthe application of data manipulation and simulation tools in geometry and algebra, in a class of engineering course at the Centro Universitário Sociesc de Curitiba, 2017/2. The objectives of thiswork are facilitating the knowledge of analytical geometry and linear algebra aided by softwaresand recognizing which methodology the academics indicate to be adequate to their profiles. From the experience report, the academics indicate more affinity for methodologies that place them at the center of learning. We concluded thatteaching engineering has more effects that are significantwhen it usestechnological instrumentsthatdemonstratemathematical properties in a dynamical way.
