The existence of intersex people dates back to antiquity, but it was not until the end of the 20th century that a discussion began about the right of these children to exist as they were born, In this perspective, this article addresses the intersex person, as a biopolitical identity, from the medical approach, biopower and education for autonomy, Only in the last years of the last century protocols were established that indicate the need for these people to be heard in terms of their sex/gender and perceived as autonomous beings and subjects of law, The aim here is to present the general trajectory of intersex activism through its natural existence and the role of education in this context, The research method adopted is a case study with a quali-quantitative approach, For this, interviews with intersex people, parents, teachers, psychologists and doctors were used, in addition to bibliographical research, analysis of booklets/guidelines on intersex and sexual development disorder (SDD), Data surveys were also carried out at congresses, conferences, events, as well as surveys of official documents and reports, We conclude by commenting that the intersex issue is in full debate and has been constituting itself as a biopolitical identity and its relationship with general education for the achievement of the autonomy of intersex people,
