O professor regente e o auxiliar pedagógico especializado: suas (re)ações diante do estudante com deficiência

Abstract

Este estudo analisa a atuação de professores regentes e do professor especializado na escolarização de estudantes com deficiência. Pautou-se em observações e entrevistas semiestruturadas, pontuando aspectos da relação educativa, instrumentos de mediação e espaço físico de escolarização de um estudante com deficiência. As análises apontaram a necessidade de se repensar o papel do professor especializado para atuar como apoio ao professor regente, e não apenas no atendimento ao estudante com deficiência. Concluímos que nas (re)ações dos professores predominam concepções de que a escolarização desses estudantes compete ao professor especializado, revelando que não assumiram como seus todos os estudantes.This study analyses the practices of teachers and the assistant teacher specialized in the schooling of students with special needs. It was based on observations and semi-structured interviews, signaling aspects concerning the educational rela- tionship, mediational instruments and the schooling physical space of a student with a disability. The analyses pointed out the need to rethink the role of the specialized teacher so that they can act supporting the teacher and not only in the care of students with special needs. We conclude that in the (re)actions of the teachers it is possible to observe a predominance of the conception that the schooling of these students is the task of the specialized teacher, revealing that the teachers did not embrace all the students as theirs.
