- ItemA educação superior à luz da produção do conhecimento: o contexto emergente dos Institutos Federais/Brasil(2017) FONTOURA, Julian Silveira Diogo de Ávila; MOROSINI, Marilia CostaThe law of nº 11.892/08 introduced to Brazil a new model of institutional education. This new model adds science and technology to citizens’ development by coordinating different levels and modes of such development with profissional and technological education. In such case, higher eduction is also included in the framework: the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology (IF’s). In the purpose of realizing the concept that the legislation defends in current higher education context, to comprehend this new institutional model arises as an important issue for scientific researches. Therefore, we believe that it is essencial to identify which are the major focuses of researches. Through such studies, we are able to understand more about the phenomenon. The present research seeks to locate academic researches developed by various Brazilian Post-Graduation programs within the scope of educational administration, in the context of higher education of Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology during 2011 to 2016. In the section of datas, we utilize principles of State of Arts with focus on descriptive approach of biographical research. The outcome of the present research indicates a tendency within the studied field and the perception of implemented practice in higher education within this new institutional model where the related aspects, the pedagogical effectiveness and the cultural relevance are placed in the centre of the researches carried out. It emphasizes, as well, the categories used in current paper in order to comprehend academic works about higher education in the new institutional perspective.
- ItemApontamentos sobre competências interculturais na educação superior(2021) CLEMENTE, Fabiane Aparecida Santos; MOROSINI, Marilia CostaDiscussing intercultural competences in Brazilian higher education presupposes a look at the cultural aspects and the process of developing competences, as well as interlacing with discussions about other topics. The predominance of "archaic monocultural formats" that reproduce various forms of racism or even an environment based on a functional interculturality in this context instigates us to nurture reflections on its evolution. In addition, skills are a fundamental theme in the educational environment, since preparing students for the global world is already more than a reality. This research sought to analyze the perception of the students regarding the concept of intercultural competences and competences (CI) and their practices in a Brazilian public university. The way forward was a field research, qualitative, case study, using questionnaire and Discursive Textual Analysis (DAT). The main results brought theoretical confirmation of the predominance in Brazil of the concept of competences as input and the concept of intercultural competences (polysemic) as a branch of it. There emerged from the discourses, essential elements (context, social actors and practices) for the development of intercultural competences in higher education, as well as four categories that could influence the improvement of this process: Concept of competences and concept of intercultural competences; practices for the promotion of IC in university and university environment. - ItemDemocratização da educação superior brasileira: do acesso ao compromisso com o sucesso acadêmico(2017) USTÁRROZ, Elisa; QUADROS, Sérgio Feldmann de; MOROSINI, Marilia CostaThis paper is basedon the premise that, beyond the commitment to promoting access, the democratization of higher education also entails a commitment to the academic success of students. What has been understood by academic success in the process of democratization of Brazilian higher education is the question that drives this research, whose main purpose is to unveil some of the meanings with which this expression has been used in the discourses of different actors who participate, directly or indirectly, in the debate of educational issues. The academic production on this subject first, and the documents of the Brazilian National Conference of Education (CONAE) and the Brazilian Nationals Plans for Education (PNE) later have been taken as objects of analysis. The analyses ofsuch documents in the light of the emerging categories –curricular integration, university life, competences and citizenship –has shown that academic success, in the process of democratization of Brazilian higher education, has been broadly understood by incorporating notions of at least three of the categories. Curricular integration, university life and citizenship appear both in the academic production and in the documents analyzed, which makes us think that we are on the right track concerning our framework. Which polices and institutional strategies have been performed to create opportunities of success for a greater number of students, as well as what kind of conception of success these polices and institutional strategies are bound by still remain to be understood.
- ItemInternacionalização da educação superior na perspectiva sul-sul movimentos e contextos emergentes em tempos pandêmicos(2022) CORTE, Marilene Gabriel Dalla; MOROSINI, Marilia Costa; FELICETTI, Vera LuciaPrioriza-se analisar movimentos e contextos emergentes relacionados à internacionalização da Educação Superior na perspectiva sul-sul em tempos pandêmicos, com atenção a internacionalização em casa (IaH) e aos estudantes. A metodologia de pesquisa, natureza qualitativa, constitui-se exploratória-interpretativa com aplicação de questionários on-line à coordenadores de Programas de Pós-graduação (PPGs) da região Sul do Brasil. A análise aborda a articulação de Programas de Pós-graduação quanto a IaH e movimentos de internacionalização sul-sul realizados a partir da pandemia Covid-19. Também, busca-se mapear quais [re]articulações das relações internacionais e de cooperação acadêmica que estão sendo realizadas entre países e Instituições de Educação Superior do global Sul. Tais [re]articulações podem se constituir a partir de movimentos de internacionalização solidária e horizontal ou mercantilista, considerando possíveis novos contextos emergentes na Educação Superior.
- ItemInternacionalização do currículo: produção em organismos multilaterais(2018) MOROSINI, Marilia CostaA internacionalização da educação superior vem se expandindo no contexto da globalização e da Sociedade do Conhecimento. Recentemente, organismos multilaterais, capitaneados pela OCDE, passam a propor outras formas para a internacionalização, como a do currículo. O artigo tem como foco a Internacionalização do Currículo (IoC) e a interferência de organismos multilaterais, via produção de textos, nesse processo. É apontada a complexidade dessa concepção que se estende desde a formação profissional para o mercado globalizado até a formação do cidadão global pela Unesco. Para fundamentar as análises são utilizados princípios de estado de conhecimento tendo como fonte a bibliografia internacional oriunda de organismos multilaterais e/ou decorrentes.
