- ItemDiscursos sobre homossexualidade e gênero em um curso de formação em psicologia(2012) DINIS, Nilson FernandesThis article intends to discuss some conceptions about homosexuality and gender produced in the discourses of Psychology. With this purpose, questionnaires with questions about these themes were applied to undergraduate students of a psychology course in a Brazilian university. The results point to the rejection of prejudiced positions about the sexual and gender minorities. On the other hand, the answers also point to an assimilation of politically correct discourse, but without a meaningful change in the binary conception about the production of sexual and gender identities or about the formation of new models of family in the contemporary world. Finally it remarks the necessity of more space in the curriculum of psychology training to discuss themes such as gender and sexual diversity.
