Proletarização do magistério e lutas pela educação no estado do Paraná: do regime militar à ascensão do neoliberalismo (1960-1990)1

Abstract

O texto tem por objetivo discutir sobre a conjuntura política, histórica e social, na qual as lutas pela educação estiveram inseridas desde a instalação do regime militar no Brasil até meados da década de 1990. Aborda algumas especificidades das lutas dos trabalhadores pela educação no Estado do Paraná e alguns fatores que contribuíram com a proletarização do magistério. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise documental. Conclui que com o findar da ditadura, ao mesmo tempo que os trabalhadores comemoravam os avanços democráticos, o neoliberalismo se alastrou pela sociedade e influenciou na educação, acirrando o processo de proletarização do magistério.The text aims to discuss the historical and social polictical conjunctu-re, in which the struggle for education have been inserted since the installation of the military regime in Brazil until the mid-1990s. Discusses some specifics of workers’ struggles for education in the State of Paraná and some factors that contributed to the proletarianization of teaching. The methodological procedures used were a literature review and document analysis. Concludes that with the ending of the dictatorship, while workers celebrated democratic advances, neoliberalism spread by the society and influenced in education, contributing to the proletarization of the magisterium
