Educação em direitos humanos no Brasil e em Portugal: interpretação histórico-política comparativa

Abstract

Estudo histórico-crítico sobre a relação entre Direito, Educação e Política, desenvolvido a partir de fontes teóricas do Brasil e de Portugal sobre o tema da Educação em Direitos Humanos (EDH). Investiga as origens econômicas, políticas e sociais identitárias dos Estados brasileiro e português, a partir da intrínseca relação existente entre o processo de colonização e a contraditória transformação das sociedades nos respectivos períodos de redemocratização, alcançados no final do século XX. Apresenta a luta pelos Direitos Humanos, no Brasil e em Portugal, através de mediações institucionais e acadêmicas. Destaca a pesquisa em Direitos Humanos como promissora prática social nos dois países.Historical-critical study on the relationship between Law, Education and Politics, developed from theoretical sources in Brazil and Portugal on the subject of Education in Human Rights (EDH). It investigates the economic, political and social identities of the Brazilian and Portuguese states, based on the intrinsic relationship between the colonization process and the contradictory transformation of societies in the respective periods of redemocratization, reached at the end of the 20th century. It presents the struggle for Human Rights, in Brazil and Portugal, through institutional and academic mediations. It highlights research in Human Rights as a promising social practice in both countries.
