Disciplina pesquisa em educação: métodos e técnicas como ações teóricas

Abstract

Este texto traz uma discussão sobre o conteúdo da disciplina Pesquisa em Educação - disciplina que tem por objetivo ensinar a atividade investigativa no campo do conhecimento em educação. Com a preocupação em discutir o significado desta disciplina e sua importância na formação do pesquisador, o argumento central deste trabalho é que a escolha metodológica e a construção dos instrumentos de pesquisa são ações orientadas pela perspectiva epistemológica. Considerando o pressuposto de que a opção por um determinado método de pesquisa e a definição dos procedimentos para o trabalho empírico são ações sustentadas por determinada forma de entendimento epistemológico, serão apresentados os argumentos que destacam a importância da orientação epistemológica sobre o processo investigativo.This text provides a discussion on the content of discipline Research in Education – discipline that is intended to teach the research activity in the field of knowledge in education. With concern in discussing the meaning of discipline and its importance in the formation of the researcher, the central argument of this text is that the methodological choice and construction of research instruments actions are guided by epistemological perspective. Considering, the assumption that the choice of a specific research method and the definition of procedures for the empi-rical work actions are supported by a certain form of epistemological understan-ding, will present the arguments that highlight the importance of epistemological orientation on the investigative process.
