Mapeamento do método fenomenológico nas pesquisas em educação no Brasil

Abstract

O presente estudo tem o objetivo de mapear dissertações e teses brasileiras na área da Educação que, no método de investigação, utilizaram-se da Fenomenologia como referência. O levantamento foi realizado no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da Capes, encontrando-se 1.142 registros, dos quais 89 foram analisados, referentes aqueles orientados pelos pesquisadores com maior número de orientações nesta perspectiva. Constatou-se um aumento da presença da Fenomenologia nos estudos da área da Educação, além da grande diversidade de procedimentos adotados. Identificou-se, ainda, a presença marcante da Hermenêutica, em detrimento de pesquisas fundadas exclusivamente na Fenomenologia Estrutural.This paper to map the production of Brazilian dissertations and theses that proposed the use of Phenomenology as a research method in the area of Education. The survey was conducted at the Capes (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel of the Ministry of Education of Brazil) Thesis and Dissertation Bank, with a record of 1.142, of which 89 studies were analyzed, referring to researches oriented by researchers with the largest number of orientations in this perspective. It was found that studies in the field of education situate phenomenology with great diversity, in terms of the framework used and its methodological procedures.
