Ciência e subjetividade na perspectiva de Hilton Japiassu

Abstract

As transformações epistemológicas que presenciamos nos últimos cinquenta anos, fundamentadas no questionamento ao Positivismo, alteraram profundamente o modo de pensar a relação entre ciência e subjetividade. Nesse contexto, cabe perguntar como essa relação é abordada nas Ciências Humanas/Sociais. O ensaio discorre sobre como as Epistemologias da Subjetividade se apresentam diante dessa relação, qual o papel social delegado ao cientista, sujeito e objeto de suas próprias práticas, e como a discussão é abordada pelo filósofo Hilton Japiassu.The epistemological transformations that we have witnessed within the past fifty years, grounded on the questioning to Positivism, have profoundly changed the way of thinking the relationship between science and subjectivity. In this context, it is appropriate to ask about how this relationship is addressed in the Human/Social Sciences. The essay discourses about how the Epistemologies of Subjectivity are presented before this relationship, what is the social role delegated to the scientist, subject and object of his or her own practices, and how the discussion is covered by the philosopher Hilton Japiassu.
