Documentação fotográfica na UFBA (1946-2010): linguagem, memória e informação

Abstract

Este estudo visa a identificação preliminar de forma a inventariar, indexar e, posteriormente, digitalizar a documentação fotográfica para acesso e disseminação da informação imagética diagnóstico do acervo documental das fotografias, existente na Coordenação Lugares de Memória do Sistema Universitário de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal da Bahia do período 1946-2010. Teve seu início a partir do diagnóstico do acervo documental das fotografias existente em todas as Bibliotecas do Sistema, e foi iniciada pelo acervo fotográfico do setor Memória. Com base qualitativa e universo exploratório e descritivo, a pesquisa documental fotográfica abrange os reitorados e os eventos na Universidade. O tratamento técnico e o cadastramento está sendo executado por meio do mapeamento em planilha do Excel e inserido na página do Repositório da Universidade Federal da Bahia, na comunidade da Comissão Permanente de Arquivo. O resultado esperado consiste em salvaguardar a memória da instituição ao tempo em que possibilita novos estudos para a comunidade acadêmica.This study aims at the preliminary identification in order to inventory, index and, later, digitize the photographic documentation for access and dissemination of diagnostic image information of the documentary collection of the photographs, existing in the Coordination Places of Memory of the University System of Libraries of the Federal University of Bahia from the period 1946-2010. It started with the diagnosis of the documentary collection of photographs existing in all Libraries of the System, and was initiated by the photographic collection of the Memory sector. With a qualitative basis and an exploratory and descriptive universe, the photographic documentary research covers the rectors and events at the University. The technical treatment and registration is being carried out through the mapping in an Excel spreadsheet and inserted in the page of the Repository of the Federal University of Bahia, in the community of the Permanent Archive Commission. The expected result is to safeguard the institution's memory at the time when it allows new studies for the academic community.
