    This text is part of the research of the Professional Master's Degree in Education at UEMS-CG and intends to describe and discuss how the physical space of the Science laboratory can be used to transmit scientific knowledge to preschool classes. The visit to the municipal school was used to carry out the description of the Science Laboratory, as well as the analytical category of organization of didactic work by ALVES (2004) for reflections and criticism. Among the results, even with the introduction of some current technological resources, the physical space of the Science laboratory still maintains characteristics of the Comenian school.
