    The work addresses the role of the school in the acquisition of teaching materials in basic education at the primary level from the perspective of the programs in 1993 that changed certain paradigms in education in Mexico but have not had the desired results in standardized international exams such as the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). This also reflects and analyzes the visions of teachers who are currently facing the group in the importance of materials in schools from their realities and perspectives
