Indivíduos com deficiência e mediação em leitura: reconstruindo identidades
(2007) ROCHA, Silvia Roberta da Mota; ALVES, Jussara Guimarães; NEVES, Hellen Samara Farias das
We investigate the social processes of reconstruction of identity in individuals with deficiency, when they act as mediators of the acquisition of the reading by their pairs in APAECG. In a qualitative research, whose data were produced through questionnaires, semi- structured interviews and participant observation of the reading sessions and the encounters of these readers´formation, we analyze the significances of these subjects when they assume the condition of mediators readers. We verified the contradiction between significances that crystallize and/or collaborate with the transformation of these individuals´stigmatized places, in the social relationships that are part. The significances of fear of the disavowal of the mediator readers´place by other socials agents is linked to a legitimating identity that seeks to enlarge and rationalize the dominance. The significances of the volunteer mediator´s role, of the development of the lettering , of the discursive comunity member and of social/affectives entails they link with the resistance identity, since it collaborates to the breaking of the statute of incapacity, buy these individuals, imposed by classificatory pedagogies. The program of reading acts as a pedagogical pratice with capacity of inclusion, once it allows to the subjects to experience the conflicts between the identities, what impels their reconstruction as capable and productive subjects with lettered competence, inclusive to mediate the acquisition of the reading, breaking the ideology of the normality and the ideological reproduction that have them as a target.
