- ItemVozes ausentes: o currículo e a proposta de educação inclusiva(2009) MESQUITA, Amélia Maria AraújoThis article has as objective discuss the process of inclusion-exclusion in the school, showing up how the curriculum, understanding it as a gear that can potentially reinforce and weaken the segregation and the educational and social discrimination, can be contributing to this movement. For that, were developed bibliographic research- in order to show aspects that could subsidize the undertaken analysis having as references for discussion Young (2000), Santomé (2002), Carvalho (2003) and Roldão (2003) - and the documental research - seeking to evidence the inclusive principles in the Declaration of Salamanca (1994). The generated questionings enable to comprehend aspects about the role of the school in this context, and of the curriculum as a social construction that has a strategic value for the educational changes, specially in the consolidation of the inclusive school. We will observe, however, how much this process is being fiddled, realizing that even over the inclusion speech we still strenghthening the exclusion through the curriculum.
