- ItemClube de Ciências como proposta para emancipação social(2019) MACHADO, Maria Amélia Cândida; FALEIRO, WenderModernity allows us to review the social reality through postures that provide a development of learning, valuing mainly what is scientifically proven. Therefore, it is essential to understand the role of education with an amplified perspective for the formation of the critical subject. From the perspective of the production of stocks, this work aims to reflect on the Science Club as a tool that enables an awakening to social emancipation through ecologies. As science is structured in its universality in a single knowledge, then what is local is despised and marginalized, being discarded for being considered useless and lacking in veracity. However, hegemonic science hides that popular knowledge has its local universality. Therefore, betting on an education based on emancipation requires recognizing and valuing local knowledge, developing the criticality of what is close to the individual.
