- ItemLean healthcare modelo de gestão para projeto piloto no Ambulatório de Neurologia / AVC(2016) ROMEU-SILVA, Sonia Neves; SPAGNOL, Gabriela Salim; Li, Min LiLean Thinking brings the possibility of building a health system whose processes focus on the patient, based on respect for people, with continuous improvement through the elimination of waste. Thus, problems are seen as opportunities for improvement, changing the culture of the entire organization. Based on a vision focused on Lean Management, those responsible for the Neurovascular Outpatient Clinic of the Hospital de Clínicas da Unicamp structured a multidisciplinary group to start an improvement project, with the application of SWOT, A3 planning and rapid improvement events. As the tools were applied, the myriad problems turned into a clear and simple plan for the team to follow. By bringing together factors such as qualified and engaged professionals, autonomy and guidance to identify opportunities for improvement, together with proposals for solutions built as a team, the project had the potential to link the principles of organization and administration with excellence in clinical care, further raising the quality of services provided by the University. This project report covers the period between April and December 2015, with the intention of continuing the implementation of Lean Healthcare. It is important to emphasize that it is not just about applying tools. Changes in the way of thinking, when perceiving problems as opportunities for improvement, will inevitably bring about a change in the logic of the processes. Thus, the focus of the work will be on what really matters: the patient.
