More specifically, we discuss Piaget’s epistemological point of view; his conceptions of the major epistemological problems in regard to Mathematics, and the genetic epistemology’s view about the features of the mathematics teaching, having in view the improvement of the thinking about teacher’s practice.
- ItemSentidos da integração curricular e o ensino de matemática nos parâmetros curriculares nacionais(2004) BITTENCOURT, JaneThis work aims to investigate the perspective of curricular integration with respect to mathematics education, present in current curricular documents, particularly in the National Curricular Parameters for Elementary and High Schools. We analyze how the curricular integration and its principles are formed and related to the current job demands, and we consider the implementation difficulties of such integration propositions, due to the tradiitional organization of disciplines or the distance between these proposals and the school context. In relation to mathematics education, through this analysis, we have tried to point out to the continuities and the changes, as well as identify trends, in order to characterize the curricular dynamics present in these documents.
