- ItemImpacto cognitivo do uso intensivo da interneta autonomia dos estudos com dispositivos na adolescência(2018) BERRIBILI, Erika Giacometti-Rocha; MILL, DanielSome current theorists point out that cognitive changes mediated by digital media are occurring. At the same time, it is believed that students with access to Internet resources from an early age become more independent or autonomous in the construction ofknowledge. In Vygotsky's view, scientific concepts derive from the formation of a system of consistent interrelations acquired through formal education, often with the help of adults. From this perspective, the analysis involved the understanding of the autonomization by the use of the Internet in computers, cell phones, tablets, etc. The methodology is descriptive with qualitative-quantitative procedures. The data showed that there is no strong relation between Internet use and student autonomy. It is concluded that the intensification of Internet use manifests itself more strongly as an agent of change in social practices in education than in cognition.
