    Thisarticleintendstodiscusshowthechangesofspaceandtimecategoriesincomplexsocietieshasinfluencedthegraduationprocessesinhighereducation.Modernsociety,especiallyinthelastdecades,hasbeencharacterizedbyintenseandrapidchangesinthefieldoftechnologythatoriginatedandtransformedsocialinstitutions,lifeandsubjectivity.Changesinthecategoriesoftimeandspaceareoneofthehallmarksofcomplexsocieties,whichfavortheconsolidationofaproductivemodelandasocialorganizationthatexcelforspeed,productivity,efficiencyandflexibility.Inthiscontext,whataretheinfluencesandimplicationsofthisprocessforHigherEducation?Thisquestionguidesresearchthataimstounderstandinghowthechangesofspaceandtimeincomplexsocietieshasmotivatedthestructuringofnewproposalsfortheorganizationofthehighereducationprocess.Methodologically,thisisanexploratorytheoretical-bibliographicresearchbasedontheworkoftheauthorsGiddens,Sennett,RicardoAntunesandMarthaNussbaum.Theseresearchersdiscussthecontemporaryproblematicwithinthesocio-historicalcharacterizationofcomplexsocietiesfromtheirinstitutions(individual/societysocialization)andworkmorphology.Thus,thechangeofspaceandtimecategoriesincomplexsocietieshasinfluencedtheorganizationofhighereducationbyintroducingaproductivist-marketlogicofflexibilityandreductionoftrainingtime.

    The following article discusses how changes of the categories of space and time in the complex societies, have influenced in the formative processes in the higher education. Modern society, especially in the last decades has been characterized by intense and rapid changes in the field of technology that originated and transformed social institutions, life and subjectivity. Changes in the categories of time and space are one of the societies’ complex trademarks, which favor the consolidation of a productive model and a social organization that excel in speed, productivity, efficiency and flexibility. In this context, what are the influences and implications of this process for Higher Education? This question is the guiding principle of the research that aims to understand how the changes of space and time in complex societies has motivated the structuring of new proposals of organization of the higher educational process. Methodologically, this is an exploratory research of a theoretical-bibliographic nature that talks to the authors Giddens, Sennett, Ricardo Antunes and Martha Nussbaum. These researchers discuss the contemporary problematic within the socio-historical characterization of complex societies from their institutions (individual / society socialization) and work morphology. Thus, the change of space and time categories in complex societies has influenced the organization of higher education by introducing a production-based and marketing logic of flexibility and reduction of training time.

    As diversas faces da internacionalização

    The article reflects the internationalization of higher education as a major concern of universities and certain policies of international organizations (OECD, World Bank, Unesco) and national agencies (Capes, CNPq). Inaddition to presupposing interculturality, the integration of research and knowledge, solidarity among peoples, is also characterized as a space for debates and clashes between actors in the field itself and in the intercession of the social fields involved. In these areas of dispute there are speeches that reveal the different faces of internationalization. The objective is to analyze the sense of internationalization contained in the documents of two community universities in Southern Brazil. The research is characterized as bibliographical, documentary, analytical and comparative cut. The research universe is two community universities in the South of Brazil that are analyzed and compared from their documents, above all, the Institutional Development Plan (IDP) and the Institutional Internationalization Plan. In both universities, it is evident the understanding that internationalization is the way to consolidate research, teaching and extension with a view to competitiveness, productivism and the logic of global employability. However, both institutional policies of internationalization are recent and obey legal norms not being clear the objectives and interests of internationalization to strengthen the mission of these universities. It is important to highlight that only one university already has the Institutional Internationalization Plan.
