- ItemCaminhos da educação infantil(2019) MELLO, Ana Paula Barbieri de; SUDBRACK, Edite MariaIn this article, which is part of a master's dissertation, we will present and discuss the main opinions and principles of the legal documents from the 1988 Federal Constitution to the BNCC for Early Childhood Education, in order to understand the contribution of each document to the Policies of Early Childhood Education. It was based on the principles of historical-critical methodology and was delineated theoretically, bibliographical and documentary, with a qualitative approach. We chose the procedure of content analysis for the description, the understanding and the interpretation of the materials found. The results reveal the contradictions between the legislation and the educational practice, as well as the historical constituent aspects of the subject. From the context, it can be concluded that the Public Educational Policies for Early Childhood Education urgently need measures by which politicians and managers invest resources in the educational field, such as: supportto teachers and managers with quality training (initial and continued), planning of the infrastructure of work and the materials adapting them to the age group, professional valorization, with the presence of professionals of the education in the elaboration of the laws and public policies, among other actions. This means letting go of the promises, the tireless reforms and the discontinuity of public policies. And we understand that BNCC's analysis is indispensable when we study public education policies,as it is the most recent document of curricular policy.
- ItemO Plano Nacional de Educação como articulador da democratização do acesso à universidade e empoderamento da classe trabalhadora(2016) JUNG, Hildegard Susana; CAUDURO, Tharles Gabriele; SUDBRACK, Edite MariaThe purpose of this essay, theoretical and documental, is to reflect on the concept(s) of empowerment of the working class, in which it invests itself in power, but with an important caveat: this process cannot be individual but collective, through the cooperative dialogue, in which education –especially higher education –is the great protagonist, as articulator of the process. On this track, shows a comparison between the National Education Plan (PNE)2001-2010 and the PNE 2014-2024 regarding the goals aimed to the democratization of the access to university, finding that, in this moment, what can be affirmed in fact is that there were not many advances in Higher Education. Still, the PNE is an important legal instrument for the democratization of access to university, which may serve as an articulator of the empowerment of the working class. Rethinking education means rethinking the entire State, since education policy suffers injunctions of political, economic and social spheres. Enhancing the Brazilian State, means moving towards a broader concept, which will translate a correlation of forces between civil society and politics, which means a greater social participation, increased democratization of access to university and consequently, greater empowerment of the working class through (why not?) Higher Education. Therefore, it lies the important role of the academy to prepare educators who disseminate the reflexive practice, which will lead to autonomy and emancipation.
- ItemPor uma universidade para o mercado ou para todos: democracia e emancipação(2017) SUDBRACK, Edite Maria; NOGARO, ArnaldoThe theme we approach in this essay demands positioning of the Educational Policies, regarding to overcoming the historical delay on the access opportunities, continuity and quality in Brazilian Higher Education, aiming its democratic action. The text has a theoretical aspect, and it has bibliographic and qualitative nature. This paper discusses the neoliberal globalization’s calls, which transform knowledge into merchandise, impacting on the process of exclusion, on the determinations generated from the multilateral institutions, which produce transnationalization of Educational Policies. On the horizon of utopia, it resists the fight that aims education, culture, science and knowledge as goods to be shared in a solidary way, in other words, as public goods, towards the opportunities expansion.
