In educational practice we can consider blogs as virtual teaching-learning environments, giving a pedagogical character to this instrument. Blogs are open spaces for contributions from all subjects present in cyberspace, in which teachers and students are protagonists and builders of collective knowledge. The theoretical framework was constituted by the reflections of Andrew Feenberg and the democratization of technology, the contributions of Pierre Lévy on cyberculture and cyberspace, as well as blogs as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Blogs promote innovation in the provision of education, appear present in the lives of students, contribute to an autonomous and critical formation, and develop research skills in students, thus favoring contextualized learning.
