- ItemA tríade identidade, ética e informação na biblioteconomia brasileira: análise sobre o código de ética do bibliotecário(2010) SILVA, Jonathas Luiz CarvalhoDiscusses the possibilities of establishing the relationship among the terms identity, ethics and information observing the configuration of ethics identity that can influence the behavior of information professionals and users. It considers the ethic as a philosophical and political condition that must be related to everyday events, in order to develop a more effective research on the moral behavior of mankind. To do so, certifies the importance of historicist ethics to devise a more accurate meaning for the term in question. It poses as the problem the following questions: the librarian code of ethics is well prepared? What are the weaknesses and qualitative points of the document? The code of ethics has been followed by the librarian’s category? It examines the librarian code of ethics considering all the qualities and weaknesses, and make suggestions for improving it. It also verify if the above considerations permit to infer that if attitudes do not look consistent with the dignity of the profession it would be more appropriate to be submitted to an Ethics Committee - established to assess actions that apparently did not fit in a Code of Professional Conduct as an Ethics Code, with requirements for setting standards of conduct. Finally suggests that the code need to be reformulated and much of what has been proclaimed has not been fulfilled in everyday work practices of the librarian.
- ItemA(s) disciplinaridade(s) da ciência da informação: aplicação das leis da dialética marxista no contexto pluri, inter e transdisciplinar(2013) SILVA, Jonathas Luiz CarvalhoDiscusses the construction of disciplinary knowledge in Information Science from the application of the Marxist dialectic laws. Presents a synthesis problematizing the following question: how is it possible to apply the laws / categories of Marxist dialectics to Information Science? It aims to reflect on Marxist dialectics (materialistic) and forms of application of dialectics laws to Information Science. The methodology consists of an exploratory study with bibliographic design. Concludes that there are several possibilities for the application of the Marxist dialectic laws to Information Science, especially as regard to qualitative change law, reciprocal action law and struggle of opposite’s law. However, these applications are established not as a fact, but as presuppositions for understanding the meanings of disciplinary information Science within its epistemological transformations.
- ItemPolíticas públicas de informação no contexto da inclusão e gestão da informação: uma análise sobre as políticas públicas da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Juazeiro do Norte - CE(2015) PEREIRA, Naira Michelle Alves; SILVA, Jonathas Luiz CarvalhoThe present study aims to investigate perceptions related public policy information in the context of public education policies of the Municipal Education Juazeiro/CE. The methodology of this paper was established as being about the purposes of exploratory and descriptive, as it seeks to establish a possible interpolation public policy information within the public education policies in the existing Municipal Education Juazeiro/CE. As for media, research is classified as literature and documents, since we reviewed the literature for the construction of theoretical and documents used in portals of communication available federal, state and local, to describe and analyze public policy under study. Regarding the nature of the data, their analysis was performed using a qualitative approach from the application of interviews with the coordinators responsible for managing public policy under study. It is considered that the municipality Juazeiro/CE needs investment by government in infrastructure and informational technology in education, to ensure the best performance of informational perceived meanings within these educational policies.
