    One of the greatest challengers in Mathematics Education is to turn Mathematics more attractive to the students. The use of information technology and more specifically computer technology are some of the new promises currently advocated to contribute to the debate involving the use of microcomputers in the classroom. The objective of the present study is to present a methodology involving the manipulation of two different software named 'Parabola' and 'Oficina de Funções'. The activities involved the student's interaction, experimentation, and visualization in the universe of the second degree functions
