Educação ambiental no ensino superior: uma análise em cursos de secretariado executivo

The theme of sustainability is of paramount relevance considering the current need of man in relation to the preservation of the environment for future generations. Environmental Education (EE) emerged as a way to rethink strategies aimed at sustainability. As EE should be practiced at all levels of education, including higher education, this article aimed to understand if/how EE is inserted in the Pedagogical Projects of Executive Secretariat courses of public higher education institutions (HEIs) in Brazil. In addition, we sought to assess the perception of academics at an institution in relation to the topic. Therefore, a documental research and application of questionnaires with students from the last graduation period of the analyzed institution were carried out. As main results, it was identified that six institutions have disciplines/content focused on EE. Still, it was found that the academics of the investigated university realize the importance of studying themes related to sustainability and EE.
