- ItemCabeças e corpos, adultos e crianças: cadê o movimento e quem separou tudo isso?(2008) SAYÃO, Deborah ThoméOne of the most important questions about the construction of a Childhood Pedagogy is related to the parts of the body and its experiences. This text tries to problematize some tension points of the relation between body and childhood, arguing for the extension of the importance of the body in reference to the respect of the multiple expressions of childhood. So, firstly the article lists a series of questions related to the western tradition that separates the body from a dimension that would differ from it ("mind", for example), which materializes in different subjects of knowledge, specially a kind of pedagogic orthopedics. Then, the text brings a literary narration for children in order to, while producing its mimesis, retell a relation of teaching using bodies: the one of the child as a student, the one of the teacher that constrains the corporality of both of them and the one of a dog. Finally, it argues for the abandonment of this model, which is still present, but that needs to be suppressed by another relation, one of educating and taking care, of teachers and children.
