    Checklist de acessibilidade em ambientes informacionais na web

    This research addresses the processes of search, navigation and information retrieval by blind people in a web environment, focusing on knowledge of the areas of information retrieval and architecture, in order to understand the strategies used by these people to access information on the web. It aims to propose the construction of an accessibility verification instrument, a checklist, to be used to analyze the behavior of blind people in search, navigation and retrieval actions on sites and pages. This is an exploratory and descriptive research of a qualitative nature, having as research methodology, the case study - for the research to establish a specific study of search simulation, navigation and information retrieval using the voice synthesis system, NonVisual Desktop Access, in an assistive technology laboratory, to support the construction of the checklist for checking accessibility. It is considered the reliability of the research carried out and its importance for the assessment of accessibility in a web environment to improve access to information by people with reading limitations, in order to be used in analysis to verify the accessibility of websites and pages.
