Estimulação essencial em crianças com necessidades especiais zero a três anos

This article approaches the importancy of programs of Essential Stimulation to the development of children with special needs, personally at the age of zero to three years old. This research reveals that the birth of a child with specials needs means to the parents, the end of dreams and projects and also shows that the way of these families to be reorganized depends on the understanding and knowledge that each one possesss, as well as the found of external aid. It also approaches the extension project as a possibility of pedagogical interaction with the children and its families. The study brings the notice of that when propitiating subsidies to stimulate the children, it increases the parents auto-esteem, who start to perceive the children from its capacities and not for the prism of the deficiency. It was perceived that the cited programs favor the development, surpassing the logic of social isolation, historically imposed to the children with needs and raise the families awareness of incorporatig stimulator attitudes, perceiving the children as historical citizens, capable to developed themselves, although in different ways.
