    Letramento digital e redes sociais virtuais: uma pesquisa feita com recém-graduados em pedagogia

    This article proposes a reflection on digital literacy and virtual social networks from the perspective and experience of recent graduates of the Pedagogy course at a private higher education institution, located in the North of Paraná. The qualitative and exploratory research aims to broaden the understanding of digital literacy as a social phenomenon and also understand how social networks are configured as instruments for literacy practice, and then verify the need for teacher training in this subject . The study was divided into two parts, the first presents a brief literature review on the topic, and the second, a field research carried out with graduates of the Pedagogy course, in order to know what they understand about the subject. , and as future teachers, how they can be mediators of social practices in social networks. We can verify a superficial understanding in relation to digital literacy and also the need for teacher training in this subject.
