    QuiLegAl application as a teaching resource fromthe perception of undergraduate Chemistry students

    The objectiveof this study was to identify and discuss contributions ofQuiLegAl, a multi-platformapplication(app),to the teaching and learning processes,basedon an evaluative approach carried out by a group of undergraduate licenciaturastudents in Chemistry. The appQuiLegAlis part of a master’s thesis, which wasdedicated tothe development of digital learning objects as an alternative for teaching Science and Chemistrytopics,such aschemical bondsandchemical equations and their representations. Theresearch adopteda qualitative approach, with characteristics of a case study. For data production, evaluationquestionnaires proposed by Oliveira(2017)andaudio recordings and observation were used. The organization and analysis of the results were carried out based onthecontent analysis techniques (BARDIN, 2011), as well ason thetriangulation of data from different sources. The results presented by the study indicatethat QuiLegAl, object of evaluation by theundergraduatestudents, meets the requirements ofthe different aspects evaluated, namelythe integration of visual, sound and interactive resourcesandthe possibilities of building molecular structures, which can contribute to impartinguser autonomy. These aspectsdemonstratethe potential of the app as a pedagogicalresource fortheteachingofNatural Sciences. Thestudy suggests that QuiLegAl can motivate users to know, explore and plan new approaches tothe topicof chemical bonds,using the app as an alternative to the teaching and learning processes.
