- ItemA incongruência entre os predicados da educação: os desafios da docência no contexto da educação popular(2015) NEVES, Júlia Guimarães; AMORIM, Filipi Vieira; ALVARENGA, Bruna Telmo; PEREIRA, Vilmar AlvesThe essay proposes a reflection on the principles that guide the idea of Popular Education as a political-pedagogical practice. The discussion is a dialogue with scholars of Popular Education that culminates with notes on the challenges of the act of teaching in this perspective. The article is divided into i) Forewords; ii) Historical and conceptual traits of Popular Education; iii) The senses of Popular Education; iv) The challenges of teaching in the context of Popular Education; v) Final considerations. The main thesis is the unfortunate necessity of qualifying Education as a way to stake out a political field, of resistance and struggle, against the antinomies that underlie our educational system. Still, it is admittedly a posture in defense of the human ethic with a view to equality and social justice.
- ItemEnsaio sobre o comportamento: entre ciência, filosofia e educação.(2019) NEVES, Júlia Guimarães; KRÜGER, Veridiana de Lima Gomes; FRISON, Lourdes Maria BragagnoloThis theoretical nature essay, revisits concepts formulated by outstanding researchers linked to behavioral studies: Ivan Pavlov, John Watson and Burrhus Frederic Skinner. Transiting through the behavior based on scientific and philosophical studies. Furthermore, we especially enter into the relationship between behavior and education. Studying such authors, we reflect on the appropriations and the transferences that were made between what was produced in the behaviorist field and what was experienced as a behaviorist approach in education. The essay presents how the theoretical production about behavior generates justification for the technicist tendency, which has experienced its climax in Brazilian territory in the 1960s and 1970s. Although the educational purposes experienced at that time, the essay presents the contributions of the authors cited and of what was produced and continues to produce ways of knowing the human, their interactions and actions in and with the world.
