    Palco e resiliêncianarrativas de artistas de teatro de Mossoró-RN

    Considering that theater can provide resilience, that is, allow subjects to present a positive development, even after experiencing challenges and unfavorable circumstances, we conducted open interviews with five theater actors from Mossoró in order to verify the meaning of the theater in their lives. The interviews were authorized, recorded in audio and transcribed for content analysis. Interviewees had their first experiences with theater in formal education institutions at different levels. Their reportshighlight theatrical art as a potentiating activity for the human being, by enabling self-formation and the construction of new ways of being in the world. Contact with the theater allowed the artists a process of resilience, since it developed interpersonal skills and brought them, the maturation of these abilities, leading them to self-analysis and the creative ability to solve or coexist with their inner conflicts.
