    Formação de diretores escolares para o programa saúde na escola: uma pesquisa–ação

    The objective of the research is to analyze the training process about the characteristics of the School Health Program (PSE), with school principals. Thus, the study is an action research with a qualitative approach. The study scenario was in the municipality of São Benedito-Ceará. The research participants were 10 public school principals. In Phase I - Diagnosis of the directors' knowledge about the PSE, it was possible to diagnose after the analysis of the answers that 90% of the directors know the existence of the PSE. In phase II, constituted an action in the training format in the PSE. In phase III the group interview with the directors participating in the training took place, where they reported that the training was excellent, practical, objective and dynamic. In this way, training on the PSE contributes to the transformation of professional practices, constituting an essential strategy for the improvement of the actions of the PSE.
