    O perfil das mulheres contabilistas proprietárias de escritórios de contabilidade na cidade de Araxá

    The growing female presence in the labor market, including in genuinely male areas, is a fact. However, there are still many studies whose focus is exclusively on female professionals, who chose some profession that, at first, was exercised only by men. Therefore, a whole work was done aimed only at professionals in the accounting área and/or related, and specifically for those who own accounting offices in the city of Araxá, with the aim of allowing a greater knowledge about the current situation experienced by women who work in such a noble profession, and also in order to analyze whether there are still challenges to be overcome in the professional environment resulting from the gender to which they belong. Thus, this article is the result of a whole study done only with owners of accounting offices in the city of Araxá, in which the objective was to raise the socioprofessional profile of women accountants who accounting offices in the city of Araxá, focusing on both the internal challenges of the work environment and on the externals arising from domestic and family obligations. There was the application of a semi-structured questionnaire with 20 (twenty) questions, which was sent to the research subjects and returned by them, with their answers, through electronic message (e-mail), having 17 (seventeen) professionals accepted to contribute to the study. After collecting the data, they were fully analyzed in different ways, reaching a large amount of results, which can be observed below, with the reading of this article.
