    A "História Oral" e a utilização do vídeo: o relato de experiência

    This article reports a fieldwork experience in which a portable recorder and a video camera were used in the data collection of oral reports, aiming at reconstructing the history of a craftsmen community in the Pernambuco state. The rationale of this research is twofold: the construction of socio-historical documents and the making of a video to spread the results achieved. The objective of this article is to demonstrate the scientific viability for the use of a video camera in two different perspectives and the ways difficulties related to this specific type of research were solved.
