    The present research aims to give the conceptual meaning of libraries network systems, as well as to cite some examples of libraries that work in net. It also explicit the acquisition as one of the librarianship functions. Besides, this study proposes to explain the planned acquisition as a solution for problems such as: financial, duplication, time, human resources and incompatibility. It also approaches the importance and the benefits of the implantation of a responsible administration for the acquisition of libraries that work in net systems. This work focuses mainly on the implantation of this kind of administration for the acquisition of libraries’ serials materials.

    It says of the fast and frenetic transformation that comes occurring in the world of the information science. It understands library as an organization. It discusses the question about reenginnery in libraries. It shows the importance of this process and how much is detailed its execution. It observes that in the current library context, it reenginnery is the word-key and that this effort needs a particular diagnostic work of evaluation and planning. It explains the process and the stages for the accomplishment of reenginnery in the library functions, realized in this type of information system. It describe the functions of libraries dedicated to operation of functioning of the libraries. It to clarify some conceptual points about the necessity and the importance of to evaluate and to plan in the elapse of the execution of this effort.
