    Avaliação institucional: qual a ideologia subjacente a este processo na educação superior brasileira?

    The institutional evaluation, product of advanced capital and globalised world, constitutes as an integrate part of the agenda of almost all universities of the world and of this case study. At first instance, through an overview, it will be situated in a contextualized form this issue of the occidental world. Following the discourse it will be made in a synoptical form, an incursion in the history of higher Brazilian education to find and analysis the main attempts to operationalise the evaluative process in Brazilian university. At the light of legal and theorical aspects it will be given special emphasis in the analysis of the National System of Evaluation of Hight Education - SINAES- established by law 10.861/2004, which is the process that is currently in effect. As culmination it will be examined the ideology behind the process of the institutional evaluation and also with the objetive of reflection, it will be done some final, considerations and pertinent questions
